HISWA-Logo
For the time being you will only find this HISWA-ECB emblem on the motor and sailing yachts of members of the Top of Holland. This inspection certificate is kept among your yacht's papers for perusal. In this way this highest possible application of standards is also demonstrable for you, the customer. The 'Hiswa' logo means that the general terms of the Hiswa Association in the Netherlands apply. By employing the general terms of the Hiswa we are automatically affiliated with the Disputes Commission of Consumer Affairs in The Hague.
'Safety Certificate'
In meeting these standards we can offer the highest possible guarantee of an unforgettable cruising holiday. At the initiative of the Top of Holland Association and in collaboration with the European Certification Bureau in the Netherlands and the chartering section of the HISWA Association, a new, unique inspection system for yacht chartering was developed. As the result of a period of intensive collaboration with the European Certification Bureau Nederland, all the affiliated chartering firms have been granted the right to use the 'Safety Certificate' for their business. This certificate gives you, the customer, the certainty that your charterer checks the safety aspects of his boats and equipment in a structured and systematic way.
